The confirmation of Bad Bunny as the headliner of the Super Bowl LX halftime show, to be held on February 8, 2026 in Santa Clara, California, marks a historic moment for Puerto Rico. For the first time, Puerto Rican music, energy and pride will resonate from one of the most watched stages in global sports entertainment. This event opens an unprecedented opportunity to highlight not only our musical culture, but also one of the greatest treasures of our identity: Puerto Rican gastronomy. This is how Super Bowl with Sabor Boricua was born.

Chefs & Mixologists

Six Puerto Rican chefs and two mixologists have teamed up to create Super Bowl with Sabor Boricua, a proposal that fuses the excitement of sports, music and haute cuisine. The goal is to offer a 100% Puerto Rican culinary experience, ideal to enjoy from your homes the preparation of delicious dishes and drinks as part of the experience we will live with Bad Bunny's show at the "Halftime Show".

Celebrating Our Culture, Flavor, and Creativity

Super Bowl with Sabor Boricua offers you a unique and exclusive recipe booklet, accompanied by a series of videos and culinary capsules. Each recipe and each piece of content highlights techniques, ingredients and preparation methods that define Puerto Rican cuisine, reinterpreted by chefs and mixologists in a simple and fun way.
From appetizers and main courses to cocktails with and without alcohol, our goal is to promote, educate and infect you with Puerto Rican cuisine, taking advantage of the extraordinary attention generated by Bad Bunny's participation in the Super Bowl halftime.

The remainder will go to a fund for the nonprofit organization A La Cena, whose mission is to research, document, preserve, and share the studies and practices of Puerto Rican and Caribbean culinary arts.

It should be noted that none of the participating chefs and mixologists will receive any economic remuneration for their collaboration in this project. Nor will the Public Relations agency, Global Vision Marketing & Communications, receive any payment for the services provided directly in the creation, execution and management and promotion of this initiative in all its stages.

A La Cena, an initiative created in 2022, is a non-profit organization (501C3) with the mission to research, document, preserve, and share the studies and practices of Puerto Rican and Caribbean culinary arts in an accessible way to achieve collective and continuous education.

The information or content collected will be showcased through events, seminars, symposiums, academic scholarships, practical camps, videos and visual arts, audios, e-books, and/or other formats that allow communicating its mission both in person and online.

WE ARE A GASTRONOMIC CONSERVATORY

In our initial stage, we are seeking collaborators, mentors, sponsors, associates, and leaders from the gastronomic and entrepreneurship industry to lend us a hand in this great kitchen that will guide us toward culinary salvation.

We look toward a flavorful horizon with the hope of achieving a gastronomic practice and public policy aimed at promoting a national movement.

We have established initial projects to strengthen the beginning of our organization. These are:

  • THE PUERTO RICAN RECIPE BOOK: chefs cooking homemade Puerto Rican recipes (2024 via La Mafia, Puerto Rico media partner in association with NUC University). We are considering expanding this recipe book through the collection and digitalization of homemade recipe books from all over Puerto Rico.
  • HOLY HANDS: documentaries and visual recipe books by the people's cooks (2024 via La Mafia, Puerto Rico media partner).
  • NATION FOOD: establishing a national gastronomic heritage in a democratic way by uniting chefs, producers, restaurateurs, and representatives of the culinary industry.
